The services below are available for patients registered with a Bassetlaw GP only,

  • Pre-Cataract Service
  • Post-Cataract Service
  • Community Urgent Eyecare Service
  • Glaucoma Repeat Readings Service
  • Children’s Post Vision Screening
  • Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Pathway
  • Eye Casualty Follow-Up Service – Available for patients referred from Nottingham University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Primary Eyecare recommend that children have their eyes tested from an early age with a complete eye test by a qualified optician.

Primary Eyecare Services Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES)

NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Community Urgent Eye Care Service (CUES)

Providing urgent assessment, treatment or referral for sudden onset eye problems such as flashes, floaters, vision loss or minor eye injuries.

Primary Eyecare Services Glaucoma Services

Glaucoma Services

Primary Eyecare Services’ Glaucoma Services include both referral filtering and disease monitoring.

Primary Eyecare Services Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS)

Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS)

Assessment and treatment for people with recently occurring minor eye problems.

Primary Eyecare Services has partnered with the NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the following Local Optical Committee (LOC),
