Primary Eyecare Services is delighted to have joined the Greater Manchester Alternative Provider Collaborative (GM APC), marking an important step forward in strengthening system-wide collaboration and supporting the delivery of more integrated, community-based care across the region.
The GM APC brings together a diverse range of organisations, including charities and social businesses delivering NHS services across Greater Manchester, all united by a shared commitment to improving health outcomes, tackling health inequalities and delivering care closer to home.
As a not-for-profit provider of NHS community eye care services, Primary Eyecare Services brings extensive experience in pathway transformation, prevention and large-scale delivery of services. The organisation has a long-standing presence in Greater Manchester and has worked closely with system partners to develop and deliver innovative models of care that improve access for patients and support wider NHS priorities.
Through its involvement in the collaborative, Primary Eyecare Services will contribute to strengthening neighbourhood-based models of care, supporting earlier intervention and prevention, developing integrated care pathways, and working alongside partners across sectors to address health inequalities and improve access to services.
