Service Updates

The Primary Eyecare Services’ Services team have been very busy over the quarter, implementing new services across England.
We are excited to share the most recent services to be mobilised:
- North West London – Community Eye Care Service comprises of;
– Community Eye Service (CES/MECS)
– Enhanced Cataract Referrals
– Glaucoma Repeat Readings
– Glaucoma Enhanced Case Finding - Oxfordshire – Hydroxychloroquine Retinopathy Screening
- North and North East Lincolnshire – received a new two year contract to deliver the Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES) which commenced on January 1st
- East Staffordshire – the CUES service was extended across East Staffordshire, to give Primary Eyecare Services full coverage of all commissioned services across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board
