Clinical Lead, Midlands

I am a Clinical Lead for Primary Eyecare Services, overseeing Birmingham and Solihull (BSOL), Black Country, and Norfolk and Waveney. My role involves monitoring, auditing, and evaluating the performance of enhanced eyecare services, including the Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES).

As part of the central support team, I manage clinical queries via the blue speech bubble on Opera whilst also serving as the Head of Professional Development, ensuring high-quality training and education for enhanced eyecare services.

Additionally, I am the Training and Education Officer for Sandwell Local Optical Committee (LOC) in the West Midlands and a Clinical Lead Optometrist for a multiple, where I supervise and train pre-registration optometrists and oversee branch-based enhanced services.
