Clinical Lead, Mid and South Essex

I am an Independent Prescribing Optometrist with the College of Optometrist’s Diploma in Glaucoma. As Primary Eyecare Services’ Clinical Lead for Glaucoma, I work primarily on glaucoma monitoring pathway development and implementation. I also support glaucoma referral filtering services in collaboration with other Clinical Leads and service-level leadership for the Moorfields Croydon glaucoma monitoring service. In addition, I am currently providing interim cover for all Mid & South Essex Services.

Outside of Primary Eyecare Services, I work within glaucoma clinics at an NHS Trust and as Local Eye Health Network Chair in Lancashire & South Cumbria.
