I am a Clinical Lead for Oxfordshire and Surrey Heartlands. My background is working as a Specialist Independent Clinical Optometrist with over 20 years’ experience, starting as a Hospital Pre-Reg in Nottingham, continuing in that direction working at High Wycombe, Moorfields and other Trusts. I still work in hospitals but also for ISPs.

During my career, I have been locumed/employed for independents/multiples and currently an owner for my own practice. I have worked for community Ophthalmology, for the CCG and currently a Clinical Advisor for NHS England. Alongside, my work as a Clinical Lead for Primary Eyecare Services, I am on the committee as Treasurer for the Surrey Local Optical Committee (LOC).
