Clinical Lead, North East and Yorkshire

I am National Clinical lead for Primary Eyecare Services. I have been with Primary Eyecare Services since 2021 and was previously a Clinical Lead covering the North East of England and Lincolnshire.

I am an Optometrist in Newcastle upon Tyne, working part time in Independent practice. I have abroad experience in Optometry having worked in independent and multiple practice, The Hospital Eye Service and delivering the Special Schools Eye Care Service.

I was also until recently an NHSE Clinical Advisor for North East & Yorkshire and my previous roles have included being a College Assessor for the Scheme for Registration, LOC Secretary and Chair and AOP councillor.
