I qualified as an Optometrist in 1997 and have since worked across a diverse range of industry sectors to include Hospital Optometry and Head Office roles. I currently work in community Optometry and facilitate CPD. As a Lead WOPEC assessor, I also deliver sessions on MECS and Glaucoma in addition to foreign body workshops to provide practitioners with appropriate accreditation to deliver enhanced service in practice.

I have a passion for development and growth of colleagues overseeing supervision of pre-registration Optometrist and CLiP placements in the future. My passion for development has led me to write and deliver high quality CPD to colleagues in multiple settings.

My role within Primary Eyecare Services is to provide support to practices and LOCs by engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including commissioners; ensuring that the delivery of high quality and timely patient care is prioritised.
